Welcome

The 11th International Symposium was an outstanding success with our largest ever attendance, over 230 delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North and South America and Asia. The line up of quality speakers presented topics of interest to all delegates.

The 12th symposium will be held July 2013 in Melbourne at the Crown Conference Centre and promises to be equally as exciting. Our program is almost finalised and the quality speakers we have engaged will impress.  Senior experts from major multinational companies that have embraced the sustainability ethos will share their knowledge with us.

The organising committee looks forward to welcoming you to what will be an information packed event.

After the symposium stay a while, hire a car and travel the Great Ocean Road, rated as one of the world's best scenic drives.

Melbourne is renowned for it's food, fashion and sport.

Visit the famous MCG to watch a game of Aussie Rules football ( the symposium is on right in the middle of the season).

Ride the tram to St Kilda for a quiet drink and walk along the beach.

While the boys are at the footy, the ladies might like to stroll down Bridge Rd, Richmond and try all the fashion houses.

Melbourne is regarded as the food capital of Australia with almost all cuisines covered. Your bound to find something new and exciting.

We have a short video link here to give you an opportunity to see what awaits you

sustaincircleThe rendering industry has led the recycling industry as we know it.

For over 200 years we have protected our environment by converting animal by-products from the human food processing industry into edible meat fractions, feed ingredients for livestock, companion animals and fish as well as pharmaceutical ingredients, edible tallow, tallow for soap, cosmetics and biofuels.

Nothing is wasted, we even return the water which represents 60% of animal bodyweight back to the environment to sustain our ecology.
