The Journey

Stop 1 : Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes

The day begins at one of Melbourne’s most recognisable landmarks, the Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes.

Set against the sand and sea, these colourful timber boxes have become an enduring symbol of Melbourne’s bayside. Guests will have time to enjoy the waterfront, take in the city views and capture a few photographs before continuing south toward the Mornington Peninsula.

Stop 2 : Arthurs Seat

From Brighton, the journey continues to Arthurs Seat, one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most spectacular lookout points.

Rising above the coastline, Arthurs Seat offers sweeping views across Port Phillip Bay, the surrounding countryside and the peninsula below. On a clear day, the outlook stretches for kilometres and provides a wonderful sense of the scale and beauty of the region.

It is the perfect place to pause, take in the scenery and appreciate just how quickly Melbourne gives way to rolling hills, coastal landscapes and wine country.

Stop 3 : Explore Flinders

The next stop is the coastal village of Flinders.

With its historic streetscape, boutique shops, galleries and relaxed village atmosphere, Flinders is one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most appealing towns. Guests will have time to wander at their own pace, browse the local stores and enjoy the charm of this much-loved seaside destination.

Stop 4: Lunch and wine tasting at Point Leo Estate

The final stop of Companions Day is Point Leo Estate, one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most celebrated destinations, set among rolling vineyards with sweeping views across Western Port.

Guests will enjoy a relaxed lunch showcasing seasonal produce and the flavours of the region, complemented by Point Leo Estate’s own wines and its spectacular coastal setting.

Point Leo Estate is also home to its renowned Sculpture Park, featuring large-scale works by leading Australian and international artists positioned throughout the landscape.

It is a fitting finale to the day and the kind of experience that turns a conference trip into something much more memorable.
