The ARA Symposium returns to Melbourne from 15 to 17 September 2026, bringing together renderers, suppliers, customers, regulators and international delegates for three days of practical discussion, market insight and industry connection.

As trade conditions, compliance expectations and customer requirements continue to shift, the program will focus on how the rendering & UCO sector is adapting across operations, market access, sustainability, renewable fuels and global supply chains.

The symposium will cover the issues shaping rendered products value chains, including tallow, used cooking oil, animal protein meals and other products that support food, feed, pet food and renewable fuel markets.

INDUSTRY DAY

Industry Day is a practical program for plant operators, managers and technical teams working directly across rendering operations. Sessions will focus on odour, wastewater, workforce capability, steam efficiency, compliance expectations and practical site-level issues affecting the sector.

SYMPOSIUM DAYS 1 AND 2

Across the following two days, speakers and panels will connect science, policy and trade across the issues shaping what’s next for rendering. Sessions will cover low-carbon liquid fuels, certification, global protein and fats markets, emissions reporting, market access, international developments and the official launch of the ARA Sustainability Framework.

TRADE HALL & NETWORKING
